Not many moments when fictional literature transcends any sort of barrier for me
But The Hunger Games has. I’m so physically shaken by what Coin has done by placing Peeta in 451 with Katniss. I have nightmares about the games. It’s all too ridiculous, and yet all too real.
A series if, nothing else, worth remembering. Because it is simply brilliant.

A lot of books, a handful of movies and ridiculously cozy sweaters, T.U.R.N., Harry Potter PTS, and a very important pair of gloves from an old friend; and yet I’m most thankful for (as overly-sentimental and cheesy as it is) my friends and family this Christmas. A really lovely day in all.
